The ASE ‘Diverse Voices’ Mentorship Program

As part of our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Australian Screen Editors is thrilled to announce the ‘Diverse Voices’ Mentorship Program. ‘Diverse Voices’ is designed to support underrepresented talent within the guild.

This program is aimed at emerging and early career Editors from underrepresented communities, including (but not limited to) people identifying as LGBTQIA+, People With Disability, First Nations, and/or Culturally & Linguistically Diverse.

The 4 successful applicants will be entitled to 3 meetings with an allocated mentor. These sessions may take different forms at the mentor’s discretion.

Guidelines & eligibility:

  • Applications close Sunday November 17th.
  • Applicants must be student, associate or full ASE members.
  • The mentorship program will be completed by December 2025.
  • Successful applicants will be determined by the ASE Guild Diversity Sub-Committee.
